P.S....

I think I have nose cancer...

The inside of one side of my nose is really sore and I have been getting bloody noses every once in a while ... and I NEVER get a bloody nose.

The point is, today I got a bloody nose at work, and so what do you do when you have a bloody nose...well...you stick a tissue up there. So I did. A couple minute later I hear Danielles outside office door shut, and then my office door open (we both have doors that go outside, and a few times a day she will come to my office from the outside to tell me she is going to go smoke). So, I don't think much of it...and more importatnly...I don't remove my tissue because I could care less if Danielle see's me with a tissue stuffed up my nose. Well, I look up...and to my surprise it's not Danielle in my office... it's the post man. And not our regular 60+ year old post man, it's some cute young guy probably in his late 20's. And there I am...big ole tissue hanging out of my nose like some dorky loser...trying to act like this is the most normal thing in the world...

Jeez...

(don't forget to read my previous blog from this morning...)

This is torture...

Exactly two weeks from today I will be moving into my new house...and I just absolutly can hardly stand this waiting for that day to come.
You know how when you are going on a trip, or doing something really fun the next day, so that night before you go to bed it is all you can think about as you are falling asleep, and even when you accidentally wake up super early the next morning, and you are trying to go back to sleep, and your mind starts to think about things...that little trip is the only thing you can think about...that is how this moving is for me. Everytime I don't have to be thinking about something for work or whatever, my mind wanders over to how excited I am to move. Do we need to rent a UHaul...When exactly should I rent the UHaul ... how big should it be... who is going to help us load and unload said UHaul... WHO STOLE ALL OF MY BOXES I HAD STORED IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM... Should we have a garage sale... I have no clue how to property load a UHaul, what if all my stuff breaks...thank goodness there are no stairs in this house, that would be annoying...Exactly how many outfits do I need to keep out and what clothes can I pack now... I am going to die of a heart attack if me and Ashlie have to load and unload this truck all by ourselves... I hope Dave doesn't mind that I am taking all of the Staples paper boxes home with me...(and most importantly)...I can't wait to jump in my pool the second after we get all of our stuff unloaded!!!

Make it stop...

If I were a twitter-er...which I NEVER will be...I would twitter something like this today:

Crazy day at work. Everything that could go wrong is. I say lets call it a day, lock up the doors, and go home. Thank goodness it's Friday!

Out with the old...

In with the new random blog...

I just thought it was about time to write a new blog. I should try to stay somewhere inbetween Tacy...who has been writing new blogs every day....and Tuna...who seems to forget she has a blog that needs to be maintained.

Nothing new going on...still waiting to hear about our house. I'm sure there will be no problems, but if there is I don't know what we'd do since June is fast approaching (thank goodness since I loathe 2/3rds of my roomates), and our contract is up at the end of May.

In other news...I cannot seem to get enough BBQ. I crave it all the time. I have never been a huge fan of the stuff..I would eat BBQ Beef sandwhiches or BBQ Chicken every once in a while, but would NEVER dip fries in it, or order it off a menu, or make something with it, but lately it is all I want. I've made 2 BBQ Chicken Pizzas since last week, SO GOOD!

Another weird craving I have had lately is candy. I have never really liked candy...(I know that seems like a lie, who doesn't like candy) I have always like chocolate and salty things, but I've never had a desire to eat a bag of runts, or sweetarts, or gumdrops...

The other day my former roomate had a huge bag of sour patch kids and some smarties sitting on the counter...I took a few, and it's been downhill from there.

Happy Mothers Day Mom!

Since I am poor, an didn't get anything for my mom for Mothers Day...I will dedicate my blog you her today! (I did make her a card, but it is still sitting on my kitchen table.)

Here are some reasons my mom deserves to have a great Mothers Day today!

1. She lets me call her every morning on my way to work and talks to me...sometimes even when I'm on my way to get lunch.
2. She always keeps an eye on Southwest.com for me, just in case there is a deal I shouldn't pass up.
3. When she does find such a deal, she books my flight for me, and even though I read off my credit card information to her, she never uses it.
4. She has to deal with...well, you know who she had to deal with all the time, and she does it with alot more charity and patience than anyone I know.
5. She ALWAYS comments on my blog...and is usually the first or close to the first person to do so.
6. She sends me 'just because' emails sometimes.
7. And of course, cause she is the best mom ever!

Thanks mom, for being my mom! I'll see ya in a few weeks!

A little piece of Heaven...

When I am filling out test reports, there is always a "Backflow Assembly Location"...

Here is one that came across today...

"Unit 37, On Vacation Way, S of Tranquility, between Harmony and Leisure Way"

Sign me up for Unit 37 please...

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudel...

Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles...
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings...
These are a few of my favorite things!

Here are some pictures of the house we will most likely be renting! We are filling out our applications and sending in the deposit... YEAH!!!
Nifty huh! She didn't seem like there would be any reason for our applications not to be accepted...so hopefully all will go smoothly and we will be moving in less than a month!!!

It's about that time...

I don't have a whole lot to blog about...but here is a few new things that have been going on:

When Tacy was visiting me, the greatest desire of her heart was to see a lizard. We didn't see any at the Desert Botanical Garden (probably because it was raining) and we didn't even see any on South Mountain. But, the DAY AFTER I took her to the airport, I came home from work and what do I see.....not popcorn popping on the apricot tree...but rather this:

A gigantic fatty lizard right by my mail box (which is right by my front door)!! I look up from my purse where I had been digging around for my key, and I was paralyzed with fear for about 2 minutes. I thought about just going in my house anyway, but I didn't want it to jump on me. I thought about yelling for Alice to come get it, but I didn't want to scare it by yelling and have it jump on me. Alice eventually saw me standing outside the door, staring at the mailbox, and she came and shooed (??) it away....

Sorry Tace...

In other news, me and Ashlie and our two friends Whitney and Jillian have been house hunting for the past few weeks. It is NOT FUN! The idea of a new house is fun, and looking at cute, empty, clean houses is fun, but it's not fun to have to made decision, and figure up rent, and all four of us agreeing on things (actually, that hasn't been to much of a problem). Pretty much all of our leases are up at the end of May, so we are trying to get something finalized by the beginning of this next week because all of them will have finals coming up, Whitney and Jillian have graduation, and we just want to have a house with a deposit down so we can stop looking.

I put in my two weeks at Lane Bryant, a week ago. So this is my last week! I have to work tomorrow (yuck) and then Tuesday I think, and that is it!! I am so excited to finally have one job, and be done by 5. I can't think of the last time I only had one job (except in college, but that doesn't count cause school is a job really). I had 6 W2's for my taxes last year. That just seems ridiculous. And that doesn't include the violin lessons I taught. YUCK!! So, this will give me the opportunity to expand my extra curricular activities. Maybe, even be so brave as to try out for the Tempe Symphony Orchestra...just a thought...

So, that's it in a nutshell...pretty uneventful...pretty lame...but what can I say...
