Another fun Saturday...

Me and Jillian went to the Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium this Saturday! It was a lot of fun...here are some of the pictures...

We got to pet Sting Rays...they feel like silk...

These are the two baby white tigers they have!!!

These were little baby tortoises...born August 5th, 2009!!!

This is me and Jillian at the childrens petting zoo...they warned you that the goats would eat anything they could...and more than once I had to stop them from eating my shirt, purse, or back pocket of my jeans!

This is the white alligator they have...

This picture goes out to my dad...it's a Birdeater...

This is one of the adult white tigers they have...

It was sooo hot, and it had rained the night before so it was soo humid! We were literally drenched in sweat...

The walls and fences around some of the animals are very small...we could of easily reached otu and petted these zebras...but we didn't...

Again...we were REALLY close to this guy...it was really cool...

Jillians favorite part was the Giraffes. You could to up in that hut thing and feed the giraffes.

And here is a Meerkat. I don't know how they don't get out of their enclosure because all it is is a small fence, like you see behind it.
Anyway...so that is it. It is really cool...I think it is something I will try to do again when I have friends or family come visit....

Sweating like a prostitute in church...

My boss has decided that we are going to keep the air conditioner set really high because the last electric bill he got for the office was over $700. So, whereas I never used to need deodorant on a regular basis (don't know why, but I don't sweat a whole lot), now I have to wear it all the time becuase my office is a stifling 82 degrees!!!

Barf...

p.s. ... isn't that the most beautiful container of deodorant you've ever seen in your entire life! I wish they sold them that way! You know me...anything that sparkles...

"How was the big hole in the ground?"...

...That is what my roomate Whitney asked when we got home. So...needless to say I didn't feel bad going on a day when she couldn't go.

Me and my roomate Jillian and Jessica (a girl I know from church) went to the Grand Canyon this past Saturday because it was FREE!! It was pretty fun...the weather was AMAZING!! I can't believe the temperature difference just a few hours of driving can make!

Oh...and I got 10 more pressed pennies for my colletion!

Here are some pictures of the trip!

I am so thankful for...

1. Arby's Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwiches. OH MY GOSH... I was trying to think of what to do for lunch, and I had a coupon for Arby's. When I got there I saw that they had the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich and it had been a while since I've that one you don't see those at every Arby's...so I got it and it was DELICOUS!!

2. I'm so glad I don't have any secrets I'm trying to keep from anyone. I just can't imagine going through my day hoping that _______ doesn't find out that I _______...
I've been watching the TV show Dexter online and he is a blood spatter expert for the Miami Police Department...and a serial killer. Obviously there aren't too many situations too much like that, but even just a little secret can be hard to keep. I'm just thankful I don't have any...

It only comes once a year...

You know how we tend to round numbers to the nearest 5 or whatever...
For example...

"Crap Jillian...I'm going to be late for work again. Do you know what time it is?"
Jillian looks at her cell phone...and it says 8:13 so she says "Ya, it's 8:15"

Or, when you buy something for the house and it costs $15.74, then you come home and your three roomates ask you how much they owe you you just say "Oh, $4.00 each"

Or you found a great deal on a pair of jeans from Nordstroms and someones asks how much you saved and your receipt says "YOU SAVED $18. 93" and you say "I saved 20 bucks!!!"

Well... basically...I'm going to be 30 for the next 4 years! It's a little depressing!

But, I have had a luscious birthday so far...

*I woke up to a random thunderstorm this morning ... and I LOVE thunder!
*I opened my present from my mom and it was a Garmin GPS system...much needed and much loved!! And $50.00 for dinner sometime!
*I got a $50.00 gift card to Texas Roadhouse from my boss!
*Danielle and Brian bought me lunch!
*My bangs actually cooperated today and I don't look as much like a "kindergardener who got a hold of her moms scissors" as I did last week! (I'm even wearing them NOT pinned back today)
*I have an inbox full of coupons and free things for my birthday!

And it's only 1:30 in the afternoon!

I am having dinner with a bunch of friends tonight, and then maybe playing some games and swimming!

Here's to great birthdays!
