Because you want to know...

I have so much crap to do that I have completely stopped processing anything.

I am now just sitting at my desk and staring at my piles and my to do list and my 'in' box and I can't make myself do any of it... well ...except write a blog about it of course...

Modern Family...

EVERYONE....should be watching this show...

Right now at ABC.com you can catch the 4 most recent episodes, plus the pilot show. Or you can watch them at hulu.com...
It's on ABC on Wednesday nights. I would say at least watch the pilot first, so you sort of know the background of everyone...but after that you can watch watever episodes you can, cause there's not a real plot to it, it's just a HILAROUS show!!

Saturday is a special day...

Once again...not a whole lot to post about...but I thought I should get something on here to prove I'm alive...

A few months ago Charlene (who I just realized I left off my blog list when I redid my blog...dang it!) gave me tons of scrap cardstock she was getting rid of. When I picked it up at her house the colors got all mixed up...so I spent this morning organizing it all by color!! I have had it sitting in two boxes in the middle of my room for a long time, so it was nice to get it organized and put away!

I also went to hobby lobby and used my gift card to get some of the stuff I need for my blog give away prizes!! And, I went grocery shopping for only the second time since coming home on the 3rd...needless to say it was much needed...but I got some luscious deals and ended up saving over $40.00!!

And now...as we speak...I am watching prison break for the 3rd time in less than a year...cause Stacie wanted to watch it...and I can't let her do that without me!

blahbiddy blah blah...

I can honestly say that I have done a heck of a lot of nothing since I got home a few weeks ago. I get up...go to work...come home...Stacie usually comes over...we all do something for dinner...veg in front of the TV...and then I go to bed. I'm leading an extremely dull life...

I got a Cricut (for some real fun times...please watch the video on that page!!) for Christmas but wasn't able to bring it home on the airplane with me, but I got it in the mail yesterday from my mom, so I am excited about that. I need to get back in my crafting habit (on a scale of 1 to 10 how pathetic is it that crafting makes my life WAY more exciting) and am excited to get down and dirty with my Cricut...

For now...I will leave you with a couple luscious pictures of the two things that get me through my day...

Time...don't let it slip away...

Well, time is flying by and it's almost February 19th...

What is February 19th you may ask?

Well, that is the day I posted my Blog-Give-Away blog...and if I recall...I had one year to send out my free gifts for commenting... (technically, it was suppossed to be in the year 2009, but I'm going to declare that it meant one year from the day I posted it...)

I just didn't want those few that hadn't gotten their gift from me to think I was a huge slacker and didn't do what I promised ...

I recieved some some cool blog giveaway gifts myself...2 pairs of SUPER cute earrings and a set of really homemade stationary!!

So, for those of you who hadn't gotten the gift from me yet...never fear...it is coming shortly...

for all the Mormons out there...

If you could please turn to page 156 of your new Gospel Principles manual....

Yes...that picture is of my dad...

Imagine me mindlessly flipping through the picture of my new manual during Sacrament meeting today and all of the sudden seeing that picture...

Back in the saddle...

Clearly I made it back to Arizona and am now back to regular life again. I did have my job waiting for me (that was never in question) and I have been reassured over and over that I was missed profusely. It is kind of nice being missed!! I should take 6 weeks off more often...

It was really really nice to be home for so long...to get to be there for all of the holidays. It makes me sad that I will probably not be able to do that again, be there fore 6 weeks... but it is good to be back.

I don't really have a whole lot to report...oh...the other girl in the office is getting married and she asked me to be her maid of honor...so I went on Monday to get my dress...it's cute...scandelous...but cute I guess. If you would have shown me the picture of the dress and said this one was going to look the best I would of laughed in your face...hard...but Stacie and Whitney reassured me that it looks fine... it's strapless so I am going to try to find a little sweater or something to wear over it... lets just say it looks slightly different on this girl than it does on me...but i tried on a few dresses and the girls said this one was the best. The good thing is it isn't satin...so it's a little more forgiving, and it has POCKETS!! So nice! Anyway, when it gets in at the store I will take some pictures of it...

Question...

When you look at my blog do you see yellow and gold flowers on the edges or do you just see a khaki background? Cause I spent DAYS looking for backgrounds that I liked, and I didn't pick one only to have people only see khaki...

On my laptop I see my background...but on my office computer it's just khaki...

Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. Take up one hole more in the buckle if necessary, or let down one, according to circumstances; but on the first of January let every man gird himself once more, with his face to the front, and take no interest in the things that were and are past. ~Henry Ward Beecher
