Who could it be...

Somewhere in the back of my mind is always lurking the thought of my blog give away. I had 9 people comment on that blog, and I have yet to get out any of my free homemade gifts!
Well...that is true no longer. I (will) put 4 of them in the mail (tomorrow)!
Who do you think those lucky 4 are?
Tacy, Kevin, Jaime, Laura, Connie, Kathy, Alayna, Sarah or Tuna?
You'll have to wait and see!!!

Finally...

Here is your virtual tour of my house...

The front...Jillian planted those 5 plants in our front planter...so they will look nice when they've grown in.

WELCOME!!

These two rooms (above and below) are the first you see when you walk in the door. It's kind of like one big room, with a little step in between.

The above picture is the view of the dining room/kitchen from the other half of the front room. The view below is from the laundry room/pantry.

If you look at the picture above this one, you see the girl standing by the sliding glass window...the above picture is the view from that window.
Once you walk out that door you can go to the left to the pool, or to the right to the patio furniture/lawn area.

This is our pantry/laundry room. And straight through this room is the garage.

If you're standing in the middle of the front room, you can go down this little hallway (above). Go to the left at the end of the hallway and all the way at the end is my room.

Below is the view of the hall from my room. If you head down the hallway the first door on the left is Ashlie's room, then Whitney's, then Jillian's.

And that concludes our tour...

My apologies...

I just wanted to take a second and apologize for being a really poor blogger lately...
I am feeling extremely motivated today, so I plan on going home and finishing my room, then I will be able to take pictures of it and get those posted.
I also have some picture from my grandma's birtday celebrations this past weekend to share as well...

Don't give up on me...

These are a few of my favorite things...

I don't have any pictures of my house yet...for two reasons:
1. My room is still unpacked.
2. I have found my camera...and then I find my SD cards...but I haven't successfuly put the two together yet (and I'm not even sure how they got separated in the first place)

So, for now, here are a few things I have discovered I'd been missing out on:

Fabric softener. I have always used the dryer sheets...but when I was home in February for my dad's head stuff, I did some laundry and the clothes smelled FABULOUS when they were done. My clothes always smelled good, and clean, but not FABULOUS. My mom told me it was probably the fabric softener. So, I decided to buy some the other day, and today I can't stop smelling my shirt! It is...FABULOUS! I use Snuggle brand because when I was little I won a Snuggle Bear in some contest, and I still have it, so I feel connected to that brand.

I have to admit I have not actually been to Trader Joe's yet...but I fully intend on being a faithful customer. I had heard of this store, but never went because I knew it was healthier stuff, and therefore I thought it was going to be really expensive. My roomate Jillian began shopping there a few weeks ago, and she says that it is actually pretty cheap, and they have alot of variety. They don't neccessarily have alot of things, but they have alot of variety for the things they do have. (Does that make sense). Most importantly they have these cookies that say "Ginger kitten cookies...for people!" Jillian had then on her counter forever and I thought that they were her cat's cookies. But they aren't...and they are DELICIOUS...
And that brings me be point #3.

Ginger. I love ginger. I can't get enough of it. I cook with it, and order things with the ginger in the title. It is just so good...
